Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to take on a leadership role in managing commercial, residential, and industrial land development projects. This role requires expertise in project management, technical design, and client communication while leading a diverse team of engineers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a remote workforce environment and demonstrate the ability to deliver innovative solutions across various stages of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Manage and execute land development projects, including:
↳ Subdivisions
↳ Stormwater systems
↳ Water and sewer facilities
↳ Lift station facilities
Prepare and review:
↳ Hydraulic calculations
↳ Engineering reports
↳ Cost estimates
↳ Design documents
Oversee project planning, submittals, and construction phase support to ensure successful delivery.
Lead remote meetings with clients to:
↳ Discuss project plans
↳ Provide recommendations
↳ Present alternative approaches
↳Develop and refine internal processes to enhance engineering solutions and project efficiency.
Collaborate with global engineering teams to address:
↳ Project constraints
↳ Budgets
↳ Timelines
Conduct on-site inspections as needed to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Mentor and coach team members to build technical expertise and foster professional growth.
Prepare and lead proposals for projects of all sizes, including RFP submissions.
Qualifications
↳ Professional Engineering (PE) license in TX is required; additional PE licenses in CO, FL, NV, AZ, KS, or OK are a plus.
↳ At least 15 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
↳ Proficiency in:
↳ AutoCAD Civil 3D
↳ MS Office
↳ MS Project
↳ Collaboration tools like MS Teams
↳ Strong understanding of local land development requirements and procedures.
↳ Proven experience managing remote teams and global engineering projects.
↳ Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
↳ Intelligent, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to complete complex, multi-step tasks.

Expected Salary
↳ $150,000 – $190,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes a base salary and eligibility for our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
