The River Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the expanding needs around Martindale, Texas. With a capacity of 0.95 million gallons per day (MGD), this three-phase project will accommodate a variety of commercial, residential, and industrial developments, ensuring sustainable growth in the region. The project reflects the importance of forward-thinking wastewater infrastructure to support future demand while maintaining environmental compliance.
Our Scope of Work:
Modern Engineering Solutions is actively involved in every phase of this ongoing project, ensuring its successful execution and regulatory adherence. Our contributions include:
TCEQ Discharge Permit:
We facilitated the preparation and submission of discharge permits with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), ensuring the plant’s design meets stringent environmental standards.
Coordinating Multi-Phase Development:
Our team is coordinating the three phases of the WWTP development to align with evolving wastewater demands. We are closely monitoring plant sizing requirements to ensure that the treatment facility scales efficiently with population growth and commercial expansion.
TCEQ Transmittal Letter and Construction Documentation:
We provided detailed construction documents and submitted transmittal letters to the TCEQ, securing the necessary approvals to proceed with construction.
Advanced Nutrient Removal Design:
The plant is designed to meet ambitious nutrient limits, including a total phosphorus level of under 0.5 mg/L and total nitrogen under 5 mg/L. These standards are integral to minimizing environmental impact and maintaining water quality in the region.
