Project Overview:
The Steamboat Mountain School’s existing wastewater treatment plant could no longer meet the demands of the school’s growing operations or updated discharge requirements. Modern Engineering Solutions led the civil design efforts for a new replacement facility, working closely with the process engineering team to deliver a compliant, high-performing treatment system.
Effluent Limits:
- BOD: 5 mg/L
- TSS: 1 mg/L
- NH₃-N: below 1 mg/L
Our Scope of Work:
Plans and Specifications:
MES developed comprehensive engineering plans and technical specifications to guide the construction of the new WWTP, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and best practices for wastewater treatment.
Coordination with Construction Team:
We collaborated closely with the construction team, offering technical support and resolving challenges to ensure the smooth execution of the project.
Civil Site Design:
Our team handled the civil site design, incorporating grading, drainage, and utility connections to optimize the plant’s operations and ensure long-term functionality.
