Project
Plans and permit work on 43 site addresses for an ice vending company in Arizona and Florida.
An ice vending company was adding sites across Arizona and Florida. Each site needed its own plan set and its own permit.
Rules differ by city, town and county. A mailing address does not always match the agency that reviews the site.
Each plan set followed one pattern: survey, site plan and utility plan sheets.
For many sites, the team started with public records requests and as-built drawings. It also checked zoning codes and GIS data. For one Tempe site, it turned the city's submittal requirements into a checklist.
That checking caught a jurisdiction problem. One Clearwater address falls under the City of Largo, so MES submitted that application to Largo and followed up with a pre-application meeting.
From there, the team compiled permit documents, submitted them, answered review comments and resubmitted. At one site it also submitted a site plan amendment.
Since August 2025, MES has taken on 43 site addresses for the company. They include Phoenix, Tempe, Peoria, Glendale and Gilbert in Arizona, and Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole and Lutz in Florida.
One Arizona permit was submitted to Phoenix in March 2026. The approved permit went out in May 2026.
The program is still running. Nine more addresses were added in July and August 2026.
