1.0 MGD zero-discharge reuse for a mixed-use development

Project
MES delivered the grading and drainage plans for a new single-family home in Texas, from the topographic survey to the final set.
A similar system on another MES project
A private client was building a new single-family home in a residential subdivision in Texas.
The home site needed a grading and drainage plan. It was the client's second with MES in the same community, after a first plan in 2024.
The work began with a topographic survey of the site. MES built an existing ground surface from it.
From that surface, MES drew the site plan and the grading plan, calculated the earthwork quantities and added an earthwork summary.
The drainage design included a culvert plan with profiles, and storm drainage profiles and sections.
Each plan set went to an in-house reviewer. The designers revised the sheets after every round of comments.
In January 2026 the client sent the house drawings and the foundation plan. MES then updated the grading, the site plan and the earthwork summary.
MES delivered the final grading and drainage plan set in February 2026.
