The Mountain Water and Sanitation District Collection and Distribution Improvements project involved the rehabilitation and replacement of 40,000 feet of sewer and water lines to enhance service reliability and address aging infrastructure. Modern Engineering Solutions (MES) led the design and planning for these critical improvements, working closely with the district to prioritize line replacements, quantify water losses, and identify inflow and infiltration (I&I) issues. Our team ensured the project aligned with budgeting requirements while supporting the district’s long-term infrastructure goals.
MES developed a detailed capital improvement plan, helping the district strategically plan upgrades and prioritize infrastructure improvements to maximize impact and manage resources efficiently.
Grant Assistance:
We supported the district with grant applications, securing financial resources to help fund the project and reduce the burden on local budgets.
Water Loss and I&I Review:
Our team analyzed district data to identify water losses and I&I issues, providing actionable insights to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Plans and Specifications:
MES prepared detailed engineering plans and specifications for the rehabilitation and replacement of water and sewer lines, ensuring the project met regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
