MES quantified water loss and I&I for the town and delivered a final report with engineering estimates and a prioritized roadmap in 2024; follow-up work continues in 2026.

Project
A private school replaced its outgrown wastewater plant with a 10,000 gpd facility designed to tight effluent limits.
Deck rebar and access hatches before the concrete pour, July 2024.
A private school's wastewater treatment plant could no longer keep up with the school's growing operations or meet updated discharge requirements.
The replacement had to meet tight effluent limits: BOD of 5 mg/L, TSS of 1 mg/L and ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) below 1 mg/L.
MES led the civil design for a new 10,000 gallon per day plant. The team prepared the engineering plans and technical specifications.
The civil site design covered grading, drainage and utility connections.
The site plan shows a new 8-inch sewer line to the plant. It reuses the old plant's basins as an overflow catch basin.
From February to September 2024, MES answered RFIs, reviewed shop drawings, updated the grading and drawings, and carried out a lift station review.
Site photos from July to October 2024 show the work going in: the deck rebar and access hatches, then the lift station wet well with its submersible pumps.
MES then prepared the as-built drawings, finishing them in 2025.
The school has a replacement plant designed to its effluent limits.
MES supported it from design through construction, and the as-built drawings record what was built.
