Tracked excavator lifting a large precast concrete lift station section on chains over an open excavation

Project

RV park lift station sized for three phases in Milford, Texas

A 15,000 gallon per day lift station sized for all three phases of the RV park, with MES providing site construction services during the November 2020 install.

About the project

The problem

A growing RV park in Milford, Texas, needed a wastewater lift station.

The station had to serve the full buildout of the park across all three phases of development.

The pathway

MES designed the lift station for a capacity of 15,000 gallons per day, sized for all three phases.

The team developed detailed plans and technical specifications for the station, with clear guidance for contractors.

MES coordinated with TCEQ so the design met state regulatory requirements. MES also worked with the City of Milford so the station would meet municipal requirements and tie into the city's existing wastewater system.

The station was designed for long-term, reliable operation.

The result

MES provided site construction services during the install in November 2020.

Photos from early November 2020 show precast concrete wet well sections on site. A wooden crate held PVC pipe, pump cable, fittings and valves, and a precast cover slab with a steel access hatch waited on the graded ground.

On November 11, 2020, a tracked excavator lifted a large precast section on chains over the open excavation.

MES has kept working with the park. In 2023 the team prepared as-built drawings. In 2026 it prepared a site plan set with survey, utility, grading and erosion control sheets.
